Frequently Asked Questions . . .

 

What types of payment do you accept?

I accept payments with PayPal, Credit card or E-transfers. Exchange rates are determined by the payment provider. If you require a custom payment plan for original art priced over $500, please let me know!

 

Will you ship outside Canada?

Yes I will. If the checkout process is not giving you a shipping option please contact me and I will provide an estimate and make the arrangements.

 

Will I be able to track my order?

When your order is shipped, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email containing the tracking number so that you can follow along on your packages' journey (original art only). If your order becomes delayed or lost, please reach out to me as soon as possible.

How are paintings packaged?

I do my very best to package your artwork for a safe journey. Artworks are wrapped in plastic or glassine, corners are protected and the painting is nestled securely in an appropriately sized box cushioned and kept in place with bubble wrap and/or crumpled packing paper. 

 

How long will it take to ship?

I always try to package and ship your artwork as soon as possible. Upon checkout, you will receive an email confirmation of your purchase. Once your package is processed and shipped, you will receive another email notifying you that your order has been fulfilled including tracking information if applicable.

Is pickup an option?

Local pickup can be arranged on most orders. If you prefer to pick up your purchased artwork in person, please select Pick-Up-In-Studio upon checkout. I will then contact you to arrange a pickup time that works for both of us. If you have chosen local pickup and decide later that you would prefer to have the item(s) shipped, please contact me for a custom shipping estimate.

 

What is your return policy?

I will accept a return of an original artwork that has been purchased online up to 30 days from point of sale. The return shipping will need to be paid by the purchaser. If your chosen item arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible. 

 

How do I care for my painting?

My canvas and cradled wood panel paintings are all treated with a UV protective varnish. This will help to prevent discolouration of pigments over a long period of time. Paintings can be dusted if needed or wiped softly with a damp cloth. I use media that are archival, professional-level art supplies that will stand the test of time.

 

Can I reproduce images?

I retain the image rights to all artwork I create, including commissions. This means that I have the right to reproduce my images. Collectors/buyers may not reproduce my artwork in any way without written permission.

Can I visit your studio?

My art studio is inside my home. I am happy to arrange visits during business hours (typically 9am-4pm Monday to Friday). Please don't drop in without contacting me first. Thanks!

 

​Do you do commissions?

Yes! If you are interested in commissioning a painting but unsure what it involves, please see my blog for more info and/or contact me to discuss.
